Liquid Paraffin

Pre-washed and rigorously tested for ART procedures

Liquid Paraffin by ORIGIO is a high-quality, pharmaceutical-grade, light liquid paraffin oil that has been widely used in ART for many years.

The CooperSurgical fertility companies are the only supplier of Liquid Paraffin to test their oil products using Atomic Fingerprinting, a comprehensive method to quantitatively analyze the physicochemical properties of an oil using a combination of several techniques, including Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR), Gas Chromatography coupled with Flame Ionization Detection (GC-FID), and Kinematic Viscosity methods. This test provides quantitative molecular information on Liquid Paraffin.

To ensure a high-quality product documented for embryo culture, Liquid Paraffin is extensively tested for peroxide values, sterility, endotoxin level (< 0.1 EU/mL) and 1-cell extended Mouse Embryo Assay (MEA). Liquid Paraffin by ORIGIO is pre-washed with HSA-containing media to remove any Potential lipophilic and hydrophilic endotoxins¹.
